Rys poked his head intheVid stream and waved at his parents of whom looked equally pissed. "man, I must have really screwed up."

"You think?" Niko asked, frowning. "Rys, what were you thinking?" he asked.

"I wasn't thinking," he admitted to his mom. "I was just... well, jealous. I've never been really jealous before."

[praiseofblood]

"Jealous of what though? Croix is your mate, sweetie." Niko said with a furrowed brow. "I don't think he even slept for looking for you."

Croix was actually now asleep as the transport pulled off, one arm around Rys' waist.

Rys bowed is head. "I don't know. Maybe I am just a spoiled brat. I never meant to hurt my mate."

NIko sighed. "Baby...believe me, I know how hard it is mating young." he said to the boy, "But when you do something like this, you turn away from your mate and you make a rift that needs to be fixed before you can ever be happy."

Glancing over at Croix, he bit his lip, "How do I fix it?" he asked softly.

"You two definitely need to talk, and from there, sort of start all over." Niko said, "that's the best advice I can give."

"Alright, mommy," he said before blowing kisses and turning the vid-cell off. Once all was quiet, he just snuggled into his mate, still not sure how to start over.

All too soon, they arrived at their house and Croix stirred awake.

Gripping his mate's hand, Rys murmured, "Come on, Marco, we're home."

Croix blinked, before sliding from the transport and moving towards the front door.

Once inside, Rys aked his mate to sit down in their dining room. "Marco... i want to... I want to start over and make this right. I know I messed up."

Croix looked at his mate. "First you need to tell me why exactly you left."

Rys bowed his head. "I was jealous. I don't want to be a second strong to someone else."
