Love Your Nightmares (Unicious/Seren)

The jshiko paused, "You're my mate..."

"Yes, but say there was no such thing. Humor me, little one. Would I eventually be successful in my pursuit of you?" Unicious asked.

[kyaarisa]

"I would have been too afraid... You already know my history. I would've picked another jshiko over you." Seren's grey eyes turned to him. "If you weren't my mate, my fear would be in control."

[phantasmalunar]

"Even if I treated you sweetly?" Unicious asked. "I've always believed the one that is your mate is the one you would love the most, your perfect match."

[kyaarisa]

"Even if you had treated me sweetly... If we were not mates, I'd never even try to consider it, Unicious..." Seren hurt from that. It would have turned out that way exactly in his mind. He still had that fear even though his mate was part vampyre. Taking a calming breath in, Seren turned to face his said mate.

[phantasmalunar]

Unicious smiled. "I don't believe that, I think I would eventually win you over, little one," he said pale eyes looking at him with a twinkle in them.

[kyaarisa]

"Do you...? You're awfully confident. Let's just...go home I guess..." He went back to walking.

[phantasmalunar]

"You won't introduce me to your friends?" Unicious asked. "I won't eat them."

[kyaarisa]

"Not now... They're not expecting it, and I've already told them I was going home."

[phantasmalunar]

Unicious nodded. "Are we going to tell your brother soon?"

[kyaarisa]

"He'll notice after we actually mate..." Seren quickened his pace oddly, a nervousness about him.

[phantasmalunar]

"Seren," Unicious said and caught up with his mate grabbing his arm. "Are you ashamed of me?"

[kyaarisa]

"Stars no!" The small hairs on the back of the smaller male's neck were risen. "Theres just...a deamones following us." He hissed the last part, fear gripping his chest. He wanted the comfort of his home at hand.

"Ah, yes, so there is," Unicious said. He hadn't really been worried about other creature when it came to himself, but he supposed he should as Seren seemed to fear them relentlessly.

Seren grabbed the vampyre's hand, "Let's just go home. It'll....maybe....leave us be." The jshiko really just wanted to relax. Holding his mate's hand, he found, didn't help. He wasn't going to just drop it though. He kept walking, fighting off both the strong feelings that, if Unicious had never shown up, would normally have him curled up on the ground.
