You Love, But You Don't Know Me... (Emilio/James)

[kyaarisa]

"I was actually going to stop by the fruit stand and get a few oranges and go check on her after showing you around a bit more. Then, I could show you the rest of the town." We neared the lake front slowly. The water stretched only three miles across to the other shore. It's small on a map, but pretty big in person. A mother duck waddled passed with her ducklings. One tripped, and I held in a laugh as it scrambled back up and ran to catch up with the others.

[mesmu]

That's a fine duckling there," I smile and sigh. "I can't wait to be married and have kids.""

[kyaarisa]

I smiled slightly, "Kids are cute..." I looked to him, "You don't seem the type to want to marry."

[mesmu]

I shrug, "I may hate the idea at times, but still to have that one person meant for you and to be their everything while your theirs." Shrugging I sigh and shake my head. "You wouldn't understand it anyways."

[kyaarisa]

I smiled slightly, "My parents were like that... They say it was love at first sight... My mom always tells me their story when she's trying to go to sleep..."

[mesmu]

I nod, "She's your whole world isn't she?'' And with that I begin to walk away. "Well lets get you home safely then."

[kyaarisa]

I followed slowly, "I just have to stop by a fruit stand, like I mentioned earlier... Drop off the oranges, then I can continue showing you around. It's okay..." I smiled warmly as I led the way to the stand.

[mesmu]

So we drop off the oranges and we continue our tour until I notice the sun going down. So I nudge James in the middle of his speech, "I should take you home now." If I remember correctly I have a few people to deal with before sunrise tomorrow too. So its better to get James out of the way first.

[kyaarisa]

I look to him and smile, "Okay..." I start walking towards home. That nudge felt funny. Like a shock. I guess it was nothing though. People shock themselves and each other all the time. Nothing new. When we got to my apartment complex, I looked to him, "Want to see her?" I've never asked this of anyone. She's not contagious. I just never planned on it. It almost seemed natural to ask him though.

"Yes I wish to meet your mother," I say with a nod, waiting to be let in and contented by the fact he's willing got let me into his life.

[kyaarisa]

I opened the door, letting him inside. Harsh coughing reached our ears immediately. "Mom...?" I called before walking to her bedroom quickly. She tried to sit up as I walked in but laid back down because of her coughing. I sighed softly, "Be careful... I don't want you to hurt yourself..."

"I'll be fine, James. I just wanted a quick stretch..." Her eyes glanced to the doorway, "And who is this?"

I looked to the door, seeing the guy there, "Oh... Uh... This is...." I didn't get his name... How rude. My mother gave a pointed look to me, knowing we didn't introduce ourselves to each other.

Actually I had told him my title and he must of forgot it, all well. I smile as I come in, "My name is Baine ma'am."

[kyaarisa]

My mother smiled at Baine, "I"m Julie... James hasn't brought home a boy in years..."

"M-mom... it's not like that... I was showing him around town..." I blushed.

[mesmu]

"yes... He is a very good tour guide Julie," I smile to her softly. "But I'm sure your son is a very suitable young man." I give James a wink when I say this and then give him a look over with a smirk.

[kyaarisa]

I'm pretty sure my face is red. My mom laughed softly, "Oh please. More than suitable. He's like an angel according to some of his exes..."

"MOM!" my eyes widened.
