A smile twitched at his lips, "You don't want me to be hurting?"
His voice was soft but quizzical. His eyes searched Ezra's face for any signs of what could be a lie. He felt satisfied when he found none.

Ezra looked back to him, "No...and I think I have an idea of why your holding out so I...give you permission to go be with someone." He quickly looked down not wanting Adonis to see the hurt in his eyes.

A sigh escaped him slowly, "It won't be the same now. Nothing is going to taste right unless it's my mate."
Adonis glanced to him again, "And if you do know what you're talking about, you know exactly who my mate is."

Adonis didn't appreciate the comment.
"You act as if I can't be taught. Or like I can't feel love at all. If I was unable to feel love, I wouldn't have a mate. Yes, it could be difficult for me to show it, but it doesn't mean I can't feel it, Ezra," his voice held no offense but instead, an almost sad undertone. His eyes remained on Ezra as he spoke.

"You're different..." Adonis finally looked down. Yes, he had hurt people, but he also warned them of what would happen if they got attached. A mate was always different. Hurting your mate would be a sin, and it was a sin that Adonis wasn't willing to make. It's enough that he has the sin of lust in his life. As of right now, his lust was aimed only at one person. He doubted he could possibly feel it for another.

Adonis looked up at him warily, almost unsure. He stood in one fluid motion and stepped infront of him. His hand rose up and touched his cheek gently. He almost couldn't stand that one touch because of his hunger. He pressed on regardless. He tilted Ezra's chin up gently and pressed their foreheads together. He closed his eyes slowly, enjoying the feel. His hand traveled from Ezra's cheek to his soft hair, combing through it gently. Adonis shivered before slowly moving away. "I can't hurt you..." he whispered.

HIs breath hitched slightly. Adonis pressed his lips lightly to Ezra's in a soft, sweet kiss. His arms wrapped around his waist, holding him close.

Adonis slowly walked backwards with him until they reached the couch. He pulled away from the kiss long enough to sit down and pull the young male into his lap. He returned to kissing him senseless.
