Aida felt the baby kick and jumped. This one was esspecially hard. He knew he still had a few months to go but... damn, that had been painful.

Aida gripped Drake's hand when another pain assailed him. "Fuck!" he growled out causing the whole place to quiet and look at him.

Ken jumped up as Drake looked at his mate in concern. "Aida?!" He asked looking at his mate.

Ken rushed over when his mate went deathly pakle and liquid leaked between his legs - blood.
"Mommy?" Roux asked. tears filling his eyes when he saw blood.
"Quick get him away from the table," Ken ordered, "We need to transport him to the birthing center now!"

"Mom!" James cried, standing up as Drake scooped up his mate and he, Ken, and Aida transported.

Brendan grabbed one kid, Niko the other. "Come on, guys. We have to stay calm for your mommy, okay?"
Roux tried to be strong even though tears were leaking from his eyes. He had already lost one mommy, he coudln't lose another!

Meanwhile Aida was placed into a surgery box as the nano's were preped for an early delivery. "We're goign to have to put the baby in an indubator and see how it goes," Ken told Drake as they gave Aida some drugs for the pain. "Alright let's get him in here," he said before they lifted Aida and placed him in the nanos.

Drake paced for what felt like hours. This was his mate and child, dammit. If anything happened to them he--he didn't know what he'd do.

Suddenly there was movement as Ken rushed to the nanos and extracted a tiny infant and immediately put him in an incubator. The child so tiny as to be a baby doll. After checking his vitals and allowing a few stray nanos to clean the baby off, Ken smiled.
"You're baby should be fine. His body is taking to the incubator. Aida will have to stay for a few hours more in the medi-box but he should be alright, if sore for a few days." he told Drake.

Drake nearly collasped he was so happy. Ken went to go inform their family of the good news.

Roux sobbed and tried to suck it up but he still needed to see to believe. He had seen the blood. That was never a good thing. "I want my mom and dad."
