Drake grinned, "I'm part dragon." he said, blowing a bit of fire at the kid.

"Aw, man! Awesome!" Roux said. "That is so freaking cool!"

Drake chuckled, looking at Roux. "You know. Aida tells me that you Earthlings think that Vampyres, Mermen, Dragonis, Daemons, and such aren't real." he said, looking at the boy.

"Yeah, everyone says their made up. We even make horror movies about those things," Roux said. Then it hit him what Drake said, "Wait a minute, Vampires are real? Demons are real?!"

"My uncle Skylar's a famous Vampyre author. My uncle Seiya's an Incubus," he said to the male.

Roux just stared at him for a long minute. "That sort of creepy but also awesome... Man, I can't wait to get to my new home so I can see everything."

"Don't worry, darling, as soon as we pick up your brother we're headed home." Aida assured him.

Drake grinned. "I think you two will get along." he said with a smile.

"I think so too. If he's as cool as you guys," Roux said and then yawned loudly. "Should I clean up before I head to bed? Where is my bed?"

"I'll put everything is the sanitizer. Drake, show our kid his temporary room."

Drake rolled his eyes. "Yes master" he said standing and leading their son to the room. "The bathroom is here--" he said, pressing a panel on the wall. "And the vidscreen comes on by voice command."

"Vid screen... as in TV?" he asked. Then, "Why did you guys pick me, really?"

Drake looked at the boy, before sitting on the edge of his bed. "The second we saw you, we knew we wanted you to be our son. And when I heard you were being abused, I wanted to kill that woman for hurting my kid." he said, looking at the male.

Roux grinned, a flash of pearly white teeth. "Thanks, dad..." he tested the name and then smiled. "I'll try my best to be an awesome son."
