"Tell me why you asked me out," he said. Okay, so he was fishing for compliments... but he totally envied whoever got to be this guys mate.

"Because I think that you are the most beautiful man I've ever seen, and I wanted to know more about you." Ryker said without hesitation, because it was true. "Although I was afraid I'd be shot down."

Darren had expected a few 'cute' comments but he had never been called beautiful by anyone other thanhis parents, it made him feel flushed and sensitive. "I-I... You think I'm beautiful?"

"I'd have to be blind not to." Ryker said, smiling that dimpled smile at the male.

"I think your crazy handsome," he said, biting his lip. "And not just because you think I'm beautiful. Everything about you so far just appeals to me."

Ryker smiled wide. "I'm glad." he grinned.

Dare wasn't sure what else to say. He was good at being cocky and forthright because that's what people expected of him, but he just felt like being himself with this man. Only, he wasn't quite sure who that was.

"It's alright, every first date is a little awkward. Why don't we look at the menu--I know just about everything that's good here." Ryker smiled.

Darren nodded and told Ryker what he wanted so the man could order for them. "I don't want anymore of this date to be awkward, Ryker. I like you enough to want it to be perfect."

Ryker smiled. "It already is--because you agreed to go." he said with a small smile. "So...do yuou have a large family?" he asked.

"Huge. They're everywhere," he said with a shake of his head. "My dad's got three brothers and a great uncle. Plus my mom's bandmates who are like uncles and everyones got kids so... Whew, a really big family. Maybe you'll get meet them one day..."

"My family is large also. My giver has eight brothers and my bearer fourteen. They've all got children and children and children." he said, smiling. "And I'd really like to meet your family."

"Heh, you say that now. Once you meet my dad and Uncle Ryou, I think you'd change your mind," he said with a grin. He was ridiculously pleased that the man like him enough to want to do something so intimate.

"I don't think I would, I like you, and they can't be that bad." He smiled.
