And that's when the eldest bearer comes back in with muffin mix now all over him and Tammy laughs softly, "Get into a war with the mixer again."
The mother gives a sour look before, "As a matter of fact I did." And he takes his seat on the other side of his other son whom nuzzles him.
"Thank you mommy."

Devree laughed at the scene before him. This was why he liked people so much they are all so interesting.

"Nice to know I amuse you all," The mother grumps and then waves his hands. "Well have at it! All of you starved Givers! And even you baby~."

Yes food! Devree waited for someone to start serving first before he started piling food on his plate.

Alyssa listens to the other's getting their plates to know what's what and where it is before diving in himself and getting a large mess in his bowl.

Devree took his first bit of the food. "mmm this is good stuff."

The father snorts and Tammy wolfs down the food quick enough to not taste it. While the mother smiles brightly, "Why thank you~. I'm glad to know someone enjoys my cooking."
Alyssa makes a point to start eating then, spooning his food carefully into his mouth.

"No one seems to be able to handle how hot I like my meals," The mother frowns. "Its a pity sometimes."
Tammy has almost finished his meal and the father leaves his untouched for now. While Alyssa is now wishing he waited for those muffins or that he had milk to cool off his burning mouth.

"Oh i guess that makes sense, I love all food so.... yeah." Devree didn't understand why they didn't just make their own food if they don't like it, he was just a little confussed.

"If they don't like spicy foods them why not make their own food." Devree said eyebrows scrunched.

Tammy and the father glance at each other before promptly excusing themselves to go get drinks. Even Alyssa frowns and sinks lower in his chair as his mother's face contorts into a look of anger.
"Why?" He snaps. "Because its only proper that I, the mother and wife of this home! Its my job, my only fucking job, to do the cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kittens!"
He stands up and slams a fist down, "Dammit! Do you understand how useless I have been since I was mated! I had a wonderful life and I was perfect! I was the face of our TV station and then I got pregnant!"
Alyssa whimpers and slides under the table as his bearer continues, "Oh yes I am in love, I was happy, I am mated." His form shakes and he collapses against the table. "But then my first baby was a still born. The second has a heart condition. My third has ADHD. So on and so forth until, finally, my youngest was perfect. He came out screaming and healthy... Then he lost his eyesight. The only little bearer that I could teach my skills and have him be able to understand... Me... Became my newest and biggest project yet."
Alyssa crawls to Devree's legs and hugs them crying as his mother continues only now crying himself and he lays his head to the table to break down in peace.

Devree's eyes widened he didn't mean to make any body angry or cry, he just.. he let his head drop and eyes closed. "im so sorry." Devree gently removed Alyssa from him and got up and quickly went out of the the door to the house, heading out side. All he ever did when he got here was make people angry or sad.

Alyssa had frowned whe he was removed from Devree, he was comforted by the other. So he gets out and quickly follows his new neighbor, "Dev! Please wait up!" He shouts into the rain as he locates the other by sound.
