"You're not. You could never hurt me unless you left me, Cael. He took you from me, it's not the same," he said and grabbed the man's hand to drop a kiss on his palm.

Cael shivered then blushed he was pulling feelings from him that were normally only a echo with Rani but with him they were full on.

Aani moved lower and kissed his palm before catching himself and pulling away, not wanting to scare the man. "Come, I have prepared a meal for you." He said, leading him over to a small table in the center of the room.

Cael sat slowly then smiled shy, "Thanks..." he whispered. He slowly started to eat then looked to him, "This is yummy..."

"It used to be your second favorite dish," he smiled. "I made it for you every Tuesday."

Cael looked to him confused but continued to eat. "I like sandwiches best..." he told him softly.

Aani sighed and shook his head. Would things ever be as they were before?

Cael soon finished then looked to Aani, "Um...do you have ice cream?" he asked softly.

Aani nodded and had his A.I. send someone in with a bowl of it. "Do you remember anything when you look at me, Cael?"

Cael ate the ice cream slowly, "I...feel like I should know you..." he admitted softly. "But...I can't remember anything..."

Aani couldn't resist the question that had entered his mind a million times since he found his mate. "Did you and Rani... did he... Did you two mate? Have sex?"

Cael looked away, "I don't know..." he whispered. "I think we did...but...I don't know if its what you say...Like he took your memory and put him in it..."

Aani ran a hand over his face, his body screaming at the thought.

Cael bit his lip then shifted softly, "S...sorry..."

"It's not your fault," he said quickly, staring at his mate with passion in his eyes. "YOu are innocent. DOn't you ever be sorry."
