Cael stepped away from him quickly trying not to freak out, but he was scaring him. He touched his stomach confused, he did feel a connection with him and didn't know what to do. "D...don't yell..." he whispered frightened.

"Someone did put a spell on you. That bloody bastard that took you from me, Cael. You have only to have a blood test done and see that our child that you carry is indeed mine. That will show you the truth of my words," he said, his energy quickly fading as sadness settled in.

Cael touched his stomach, "No...that could hurt the baby..." he protested. He stepped away from him again slowly, "I'm close...so you can wait..." He rubbed his stomach, knowing he didn't want to have his child without his mate, but now he was confused, he didn't know who his true mate was.

Cael bit his lip scared and this was stressing him out. It showed on his features as he took another step away from Aani. "Hes fine...but...I'm hungry...I was going to cook dinner...do you have dinner here?"

Aani walked out, nodding to the two men to guard his mate while he went to the kitchens.
Nait fell into step beside him. "Do you really buy into what he is saying?"
"And think what? That he doesn't love me like I know he did before that bastard Rani came into my life again?"
Nait scowled at the mention on the male's name.

Cael watched the two guards before sitting on the couch. He felt calmer without the other male near. He could feel his heart being pulled in two different places to Aani and to Rani, but had no clue what to think. He just closed his eyes trying to think it through but slowly fell to sleep, the stress had drained him.

Aani returned to the room and nodded for the men to leave before sitting the silver platter down upon the table and moving over to sit next to his mate. His hand immediately found the man's portruding belly as tears stung his eyes. His mate...

Cael stirred as he smell the food eyes popping open as he felt the hand on his stomach. He watched Aani without speaking, somehow he knew he was telling the truth but he was scared, because he didn't know what memories were real.
