"We're here to help, Aani. And we want to. We just need you to fill us in instead of growling every two seconds, you ass," Nait growled and cuffed his younger brother on the side of the head.

Aani sighed. "I've scanned every planet save Parinenai and barrens of Sensaforia. If he's not at one of those, I'll be lost."

"We will find him. Now come on, we'll hit Parinenai first."

Cael hummed as he shopped, he got the goceries before heading home.

Aani and Nait made short work of gathering the other helpers. they totaled six and were all as disturbed by the thought of a mate gone missing as Aani was. It was just wrong to seperate two halves once they became whole. Next step was the ship and the week wait for Parinenai.

During the week Cael just did his routine. When Aani was arriving at the docks he was at the market place next to them, picking out dinner once again.

"Aani, the A.I. has done it!" Vki said excitedly as he rushed to get his friend.

"Your mate is in the market place," Nait said, "The scan confirmed it."

Aani immediately had himself transferred there and spotted his mate across the lot. Swallowing as he saw the rounded belly, he moved over to him.

Cael felt him coming closer then looked up. He smiled politely then continued to pick things out, not talking to him.

Aani's face fell as he approached. "C-Cael?" Surely his mate had not just seen right through him as if he were not there. "Where have you been, baby? I've searched the galaxy for you," he said softly, as he stood beside the male.

Cael frowned then looked back to him, "Um do I know you?" he asked softly. "Are you a friend of my mate Rani?" he asked now curious. "If so hes at our home if you wanted to speak to him."

"Of course you know me, baby, I.... Rani?" Aani's face frowned as he broke off. His mate didn't know him. But he knew Rani. The bastard wizard had had the audacity to alter his mate's mind and feelings and with it he was probably having se... He didn't want to think about it.

He had two choices, face off against Rani with his mate so close to birthing their kit and risking something harmful happenng to him or abducting his mate and seeking a cure. Killing Rani would surely release Cael but would cause severe pain until the spell wore off.

Cael looked to the male confused. "Um I don't know you...I'm sorry..." he muttered then started to walk away.

[ode]

"Nait," Aani called, not bearing the thought of kidnapping his own mate.

Nait, who had been standing behind a ways, listening, stepped forward.

"We're going to transfer," he instructed. They both grabbed one of Cael's wrists and Aani pressed the necessary button. He'd explain once they were on the ship, but no way could he in front of a market full of people.

Cael's eyes went wide and he tried to fight. He gasped as he was transferred to the ship and looked around, why was this familiar? "What the hell?" he demanded. "You cannot just take me from my mate. I demand you take me home right now!"

"I am your mate." Aani started. "I know you will not believe me but I must tell you, you have been altered, my love. I am your mate and Rani is the enemy. He has changed your perception, your memories."

[fearless]

Cael frowned and shook his head, "No. You must be Aani..." he murmured. "Rani's enemy, he told me you'd try to take me. I don't believe you..."

Aani stiffened as his face flushed red. "That bastard. No, you don't understand! I am your mate. He took you from me. That kit you carry is my son. Not that bastards!"
