Cael hummed as he packed up his home slowly, very excited. He and his mate were leaving in a few days to go live on Zerca. He was pregnant and showing a bit, that was something that made him really happy and he couldn't wait to have his mates kit. He wasn't supposed to be packing much, Aani was worried he would hurt himself or their kit. So he just packed small things like the dishes and papers, he left all the bit stuff for his mate. He looked towards the door hoping his lover would come home soon, he missed him so.

Aain entered their small home with a warm smile and a bouquet of flowers in his arms. Finding his mate packing, he leaned against the doorframe and stared at him. His heart fell full, whole. Everything in his life was better because of this man, his mate. Nothing mattered anymore save him, not his past, nothing. Only Cael.

Cael felt him staring and turned towards him. He smiled then grinned wide when he saw the flowers. "You brought me the star lilies I like," he exclaimed then went to take them. "Oh thank you..." He leaned up to kiss him gently, "The kitchens all done save a few things on the top shelves I can't reach and the fridge. We will have to get dinner out tonight..."

"I don't mine, lovely," Aani said softly, "I love showing the world that you are my mate."

Cael blushed then kissed him once more, "Mmm...your so sweet. And I can't wait to meet your family...show them we're expecting" He smiled bright then put the flowers in a vase before touching his stomach gently. "I can't wait to have your kit..."

Aani's chest filled with joy and he couldn't stop himself from moving over and resting his hand atop his mate's belly while hugging him from behind. "I love you, Cael. Never for one moment doubt that."

Cael leaned against him purring in contentment. "Nothing could take this away form us..."

"No matter what, my love," he said, "There will always be me and you."

Cael smiled then slowly pulled away, "Mmm...why don't you go get us food? Baby and I want pizza..."

"Yes, sir," he grinned and kissed his mate once more before heading out to do just that. hings were working out wonderfully. He had his mate, a baby on the way and a love that would last a lifetime. Life was good.

When Aani came back Cael was no where to be found. The kitchen was a wreck, showing signs of struggle. Cael had been kidnapped by Rani, Aani's ememy, and by now he was spelled into thinking Rani was his mate, all his memories of Aani had been switched to Rani.

It had been two months since his mate had gone missing and Aani had since left the city, he had searched high and low and even had the Prince himself on alert for his mate's kidnapping but there was no progress. There was no Cael, not there. An alternative occured to everyone but him but he refused to believe it. His mate was not dead. He was alive, he could feel it... He just had to find out where.

Cael hummed as he went to market, he wanted to cook a great dinner for his mate. He touched his stomach, he was huge now, and waddled, but he liked being pregnant. He grinned as he felt his baby kick, "Hello to you too..."

"Aani, you've got to break out of this," the deep voice of Aani's brother, Nait, stated.

"It's been months and my pregnant mate is missing, how the fuck would you expect me to act?" Aani snarled as they rode through the streets of Zerca. He had scanned many planets, looking desperately for his mate before coming home to gather some troops to help with the search.

Cael loved Parinenai, it was his home even before the spell. The only sad part was it was where his family had died. But in the town they were everyone knew him and liked to help him out.
